                                                           Poshbykattz

I have achieved many things to be grateful for and God knows that I am eternally thankful, but I am even more excited about finally creating my very own  Graphic-Tee shirt line.
The name of my brand is Poshbykattz and this is this first from the PBK collection, I have always been a total graphic tee junkie but I was very picky of what I would wear and the message it portrayed and since I have always been a positive spiritual junkie I wanted to create my own version of quotes so- what better way than to create your own.
Plus I am always aware of what I wear- being a mom I believe children live what they learn so I have to be a good example to them .
Posh” is defined as classy and luxurious and thats how I wanted to be taken and since I’m Kattz what better way to be combined.
Being a Self-development strategist I inspire women to  possess a kick ass mindset to become leaders in their business/personal life while building their self confidence, selfworth and esteem, and believing in themselves enough to chase their dreams and vision while bringing it to reality – and I do this through my combination of fashion and self development, I believe that taking pride in your outer appearance does  a lot for your self-confidence and self esteem” I’m not saying that its all but it does impact how you feel about yourself”
fullsizeoutput_8f
My shirts are geared towards women on a hold but mainly those who are open minded, goal oriented and want to be inspired, uplifted and motivated and I do this through the positive and inspirational quotes depicted on the shirts if you continue to hear it or see it then you eventually start believing it and your belief determine who you are and how you view your life.
So you would definitely be interested if you are a woman in business/planning to start a business, want to create a positive mindset, career minded or mom-preneuer.

Ootd featuring Ruffles

Ruffles are not my thing but I was feeling rather experimental and decided to try the trend and surprisingly I’m loving it

This dress is from TARGET, I like the material you would think that I would be burning up because of the sleeves but that was the total opposite , I wanted a simple chic look so I paired it with sneakers from NAUTICA quite comfy.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON RUFFLES ?

Keep your visions

HIGH ACHIEVERS HAVE BIGGER VISION

Be encouraged not to limit your vision in any way, let it be as big as it is.

It doesn’t t take any more energy to create a big dream than it does to create a little one.

The difference between the superachievers and the rest of the world is that is that the super- achievers simply dream bigger.

If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise.

Don’t let anyone talk you out of your vision, there are people who will try to talk you out of your dreams – they will tell you that your crazy and it can’t be done ✅ so many times I have been told that, but I tell them to keep their negativity and I will keep my dreams 😂

Some  will even laugh at you and try to bring you down to their level “these people are what we call DREAM STEALERS ” Don’t listen to them.

#SELFCARE SUNDAYS

After a hectic but productive week it’s Sunday and it’s time to unwind-relax and rejuvenate at least for me, and that means practicing #selfcare.

Selfcare can be just about anything that has to do with you- yourselves personally, from getting your hair ✅ done, spoil yourself, take {you}to the spa, get a facial or a massage, splurge on yourself-you deserve it.

But if selfcare to you means just staying home and relaxing then by all means do so – listen to your favorite songs, meditation or just even taking a nap the possibilities are endless.

Every week is pretty different for me when practicing #selfcare My routine today consisted of getting a mani and pedi I spent the day just loving and appreciating myself, this helps me to get ready for the beginning of the #motivation  Monday – in the pass I use to dread Monday’s but I soon realized it had nothing to do with the day but rather how you take care of your mind, body and soul this prepares you for the week ahead + if you love what you do makes you anticipate even more to get started on the grind, it’s all a mindset tactic.

Interview with girl boss KENTY plus size blogger/marketer.

               KENTY A LICHTENBERG

Marketer/ plus size style blogger

1. Where did your creative spark begin/can you trace the path/timeline that got you to where you are today

Marketer started long before my actual marketing / blogging career. If I can give it a time line, I would have to say from the time I was a teenager. The signs that I would become a planner and a organizer with an eye for marketing and details. I would always be the one to organize the class dinners, the family outings etc. Most importantly it always showed that I was hard on myself and like a true Virgo have the characteristics of a perfectionist

2. What inspires creativity?

My creativity is inspired by my love for trends and the fact over the last 11 years of my marketing career, I have proven to myself that I can convince others to think outside of the box and be more receptive of my nontraditional ways of how I do things

3. Where do you live and how does it influence you?

I am an island girl at heart.  Although I love to travel  and explore other cultures, my heart is happiest when I am home. Where is home you may ask? A lovely 37 square miles of Beauty & Paradise called St.Maarten.  We are the hub of our region, connecting so many islands. The only island in the world that is governed by 2 different countries (French & Dutch) and the proud hostess of over 120 nationalities. This makes us an unique melting pot of cultures, where the average citizen is at the very least bi-lingual (I myself speak 4). My entire surrounding is an influential platform that constantly inspires and challenges to be different.

4. How have you grown your business from an idea where it is now?

In 2014 I played with the idea of becoming a blogger, at the time my job did not give me the flexibility to do that. However I continued doing my research, in the hopes that this idea would soon become a reality. In 2016 I decided to go live, although I wanted a BIG launch, I ended up doing a soft launch and worked myself from there. today I can say that although I do not have thousands of followers, my reach and international  collaborations / coverage with well known brands, has been tremendous. In 2018, the 2nd phase of the blog will start, which is official business registration, with the aim to use it as an official advertising platform. I do want the concept of women empowering and promotion of self acceptance and body love regardless your size, has to remain the CORE of my blog.

5.what do you create with and why?

The thing is that with my creativity actually derives from the willingness of sale the ultimate experience. This is such a broad umbrella, that it takes me through different paths of my life and it lets me connect with so much dynamic individuals. I love to be able to expand your long term memories with an experience that I was responsible of creating. Although it is not a tangible product, my link to quality services and the ability to provide unique concepts for you and your product, is what defines my creativity.

6. Do you keep a journal or sketchbook? Can you show me your workspace or a part of your process?

Believe it or not draw to save my life. But I am great in explaining concepts and my visions to the professionals , graphic designers, illustrators and marketing companies to bring it to LIFE. I think if you stroll through my blog, you can see exactly what I mean by this, it is my most current and proudest project up to date

7. What did you overcome to be here now?

What did I overcome?? Many things and fears. My biggest accomplishment was my journey to body acceptance and self love. I have created a quote that I promote all the time: “First love Your Body….Everyone Else Will Have No Choice But To Do The Same!” – Kerai Kreative Style ©2017

8. What have you learned so far about business/creativity that you can share it with others

There many things that I am still learning. I like to conduct research and do my homework when starting any project. That is my first advice. Secondly identify the passion / drive that motivates you to be creative. The last one is to be consistent, treat any business that you inspired to start with top professionalism even though it may not be generating revenues…YES

9.Where are you headed?

Collaborating & Networking are important keys to any business ventures. I will keep doing exactly that until I am satisfied with my final destination. Success is a journey and you have to put in the work and time to be able to reap the benefits, and you do want those benefits to be long term! I am focusing the next 2 years on building the blog….not in quantity, but in QUALITY

10. How can people connect with you?

There are many social media outlets but I am focusing on a few  platforms for this region, which are:

Why your Goals should scare you.

“Purpose is stronger than outcome”

Who you become is more important than what you acquire, sometimes people achieve lots of things and loose their integrity.

“Why have everything in the world if it doesn’t make you a better person”

SETTING GOALS

When you set a goal your conscious and subconscious mind realizes that’s not where you want to be, so you become in a state of dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction leads to pressure and pressure motivates you to take action.

With goals we create or destiny and Shape our lives, everyone has goals some people just have lousy goals-have Goals that excite and scare you at the same time  ones that make you want to jump out of bed in the mornings.

REASONS BEHIND YOUR GOALS

You have  to know what the reason behind your gold is!Talk to yourself “if I don’t achieve this what will it cost me? It has to cost you something – because if it doesn’t that means it’s not that important “ask yourself! Why must I achieve it?-If you don’t have a reason behind your goal then you won’t work hard at it- the “power of why is the power to achieve your dreams”.

Interview with award winning fashion/bridal designer Caroline Matthews {the luxe-collective}.

                                                             CAROLINE  MATTHEWS

Caroline Matthews is an award winning fashion/bridal designer and Branding Coach for female entrepreneurs through The Luxe Collective. She also runs global workshops for women in business to help build their confidence, give them business strategies and help them connect and collaborate with other women in business. She has a guilty pleasure for peanut butter, loves to cook and most of all loves the woman she is.

What sparked your interest for designing and branding and how has it motivated you to make it into a career?

1- I have wanted to be a fashion designer ever since i was 4, it was either fashion or a Vet,
yes total contrast but my creative side won over and thats the path i decided to take. The Luxe Collective was started through pure passion of mine to help female creative entrepreneurs succeed in their business. For many years i struggled and was always lacking full belief in my brand and what i was doing, even winning multiple awards didn’t help at the time, but then i got myself a coach too who really started to help me see who i really was and what i wanted to create. From then onwards i work with a coach myself and i also wanted to help other women with their brand and confidence too.

What does being a branding mentor do and how do you make an impact in women’s lives?

2- Being a branding mentor for female entrepreneurs, really is all about helping women to own their brilliance, become their brand and really understand what that means. We, especially women buy with our emotions, and also through connections too so its really important to have a consistent, professional brand that not only speaks our message, our vibe and who we are but also what our business is about and most importantly what our brand speaks when we are not in the room. From learning who your ideal client is, to how your client interacts best with your social media. It’s not just about colours and fonts and i think personal branding is key to success in business.

What did you overcome to be here now?

3- When i really started this journey of fashion and branding. It was a tough time. I had broken up with my partner. I lost my job, my home and as i was living in a different country at the time. I also had to make a big transition back to the UK so it was a bit of a head wreck really. To this point i had had a successful bridal label stocked in prestigious stores all over the world and a thriving private client business.

When i landed back in the UK i realised that it was either do or die, i either gave this my all and focused 100% on it and built it into a success or i gave up and got a job. The latter as i’m sure you can imagine was not an option. So i moved back to Ireland and focused all my energy on building myself and my businesses back up from scratch. It was then i started to do live FB videos, interacting more on social media and realised that not only was i starting to build my confidence back up but i was also starting to brand myself in a way that was authentic and not fake, people loved how raw and honest i was and then this became the starting block for The Luxe Collective.

Receiving messages from women, loving my vibe, my brand and asking how they could create their own bit of magic in their brand, so i was already giving advice and working with women without actually calling myself a mentor. From this my coach at the time asked me why i was not utilising my knowledge to help other women, so thats what i did and thats how TLC started really and i love whats its changing into every day.

Do you journal?

4- I journal every morning and most evenings. I tend to journal a lot about how i am feeling, thoughts i have about my business, my life, family and friends. I think its important to use your journal as a big brain dump, mainly because it gets everything out of your head and onto paper for a start which allows your mind to be clear to focus on what you need to do. Secondly its a great way to come up with new ideas from just free writing. A good exercise to do is get a blank page and write at the top…. what do i need to know and then just let your hand do the work, don’t think about what your writing, just write, you will be amazed at what you come up with.

Where do you live and how does it influence your business?

5- I currently live in the UK so i am blessed with city living and also the countryside which i love too. I am a beach babe at heart though. I love to hear the ocean as it really inspires me. I think our surroundings play a huge part in our success, also the people we hang around with too. We should all make sure we have the right environment to inspire and motivate us and have friends and family who believe in us too on the days where we just feel like giving up.

How has your work evolved since you began your own label?

6- Working as a designer and also branding coach evolves every single day… i get to work with so many different women in their business and also as i have decided to go down a more casual luxe way with our fashion label i am being inspired by more things everyday which excites me.

What has been the most challenging time in your business?

7- The most challenging times in my business, were when i lost everything and had to start from scratch essentially again. My confidence was shattered and i also financially didn’t have the financial means to support myself whilst going through this transition so it was a tough time. Working another job which i had to get and also sometimes having such little money that i was making decisions between buying food or using the money to get me into the city so i could try and sell some wedding dresses and our fashion collection. But i wouldn’t change of this, because now i also know the value of struggle and no matter what struggle someone has, their is always a silver lining to it, you either learn something from it, or you become a better person, or an opportunity comes from it.

What advice would you give to a young upcoming designer or woman in general who is passionate about starting their own business?

8- Becoming an entrepreneur is not easy. It takes a certain person and a certain mindset to do it. being committed to it and what you are doing and why you are doing it everyday is hugely important in you succeeding or not. Having a passion is key. If i could say one thing. You have to have unwavering self belief and faith in what you do, so much so that it will carry you through the rough times because there will be rough times too. Never give up. If you want it bad enough, it feels right, you know that you were born to do it, then JUST DO IT. The universe has a habit of helping you when you are clear and focused on your direction.

What’s one motto you live by?

9- Be Unapologetically you! I am sure you have seen our posts about this. We even have branded Luxe tees and sweatshirts with this on to remind women to be themselves. Love themselves unconditionally. Believe in themselves that they are able to create their own success on their own terms and create a business and brand that reflects that. As soon as i started to make this an active part of my day my mindset changed, how i acted changed and my businesses changed too…

What services do you offer and how could we connect with you?

10- As a branding coach. I currently have 2 awesome programmes that we have developed. The first is our 4wk Branding Mindblow programme which helps women to get clear on their message, what they want to create in their brand and help them to make a consistent brand through not only their website but also their social media too. Our other programme is a 8 week 1:1 programme which not only helps women to become who they really are deep down but also gives them the strategies to build the business of their dreams so they love what they do everyday.

We are also running our first Luxe Hideaway this Sept 9th in San Diego. Embroidered pattern trend

Fashion is an amazing thing, we see so many different styles and trends everyday, every season but I always encourage women to own your own style never apologize for who you are or who you want to be

Self love is the greatest-you have to love yourself first, invest in your future, don’t be afraid to show your awesome personality let it shine through this helps to build your self esteem and confidence, always remember that you can do whatever you put your mind to the opportunity is endless.

The beautiful patterned embroidery is oh so trendy this season- I have seen them on basically everything you can think of on dresses Tops  denim, shoes  you name- it it’s endless.

Today I’m wearing my dress from Forver21 the off shoulder trend is also very popular among fashionistas these days I know I’m guilty of that. I’m severely obsessed with showing my shoulders if you have it flaunt it lol!

These shoes are epic, I’m not into the color red but who could ignore these loafters {do you see these shoes} they are undeniably beautiful plus it goes with my dress perfectly “wasn’t planned btw” .

What are your thoughts and this outfit?

Please feel free to comment and share!

Your Beliefs create your reality.

Many of us have beliefs that limit our success-wether they are beliefs about our own capability beliefs about what it takes to succeed or beliefs about how we should relate to people.

You can identify those beliefs that are limiting you and then replace it with positive ones to support your success.

Your subconscious mind does not argue with you, it accepts what your conscious mind tells it.

YOU ARE CAPABLE

THE MOST LIMITING BELIEF WE HAVE HAVE IS THAT WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH OR NOT CAPABLE  OF ACHIEVING OUR GOALS

“THE EVENTS THAT HAPPEN IN OUR LIVES DONT CONTROL OUR LIVES OUR DECISION DO”

You are worthy of love; the two main pillows of high self esteem is belief – believing that you are capable of handling anything that life throws at you means that you are no longer afraid.

Believing that you are worthy of love means that you believe you are worthy to be treated well, respected and cherished.

Most of what happens in our lives is not our fault it’s what we do with it after that determines.

“All break through starts with a belief You get freedom when you face your fears.”

Identify where you live emotionally is it anger, resentment, fear, worry?

There is an antidote called “courage”- having courage doesn’t mean that you’re not afraid, you just have to change the pattern.

Then you have to practice that emotion that can change the  experience, break the habit, control your mental focus -what we focus on consistently we attract.
